منذ تأسيس مدرسة كرويدن العربية عام 1995، كان نجاح المدرسة قائماً على فريقٍ من المعلمين والمعلمات الذين يجمعهم الإيمان برسالة المدرسة، والشغف بتعليم اللغة العربية، والحرص على تنمية قدرات الطلاب في بيئة تعليمية آمنة وداعمة.

يضم فريقنا معلمين ومعلمات من عددٍ من البلدان العربية، وجميعهم ناطقون باللغة العربية، مما يتيح للطلاب تعلّم اللغة بصورة صحيحة، واكتساب مهارات القراءة والكتابة والتحدث والاستماع باستخدام لغة عربية سليمة وأصيلة.

ويتمتع أعضاء الفريق بخبراتٍ طويلة في تعليم اللغة العربية للأطفال واليافعين، مع فهمٍ عميق لاحتياجات الطلاب الذين يدرسون في المدارس العربية التكميلية في بريطانيا.

كما يعمل الفريق وفق أساليب التعليم الحديثة المتوافقة مع معايير التعليم البريطانية والأوروبية، مع التركيز على تنمية التفكير، والتواصل، والثقة بالنفس، وجعل الطالب محور العملية التعليمية.

وتحرص المدرسة على توفير أعلى معايير السلامة، لذلك يحمل جميع أعضاء الفريق متطلبات التحقق الأمني في المملكة المتحدة (DBS)، إضافةً إلى التدريب المعتمد في مجال حماية الطفل (Safeguarding)، بما يضمن بيئة تعليمية آمنة لجميع الطلاب.

قيادة المدرسة

يقود المدرسة الأستاذ شاكر شبع، مؤسس مدرسة كرويدن العربية منذ عام 1995، والذي كرّس أكثر من ثلاثة عقود لتطوير تعليم اللغة العربية في المدارس العربية التكميلية بالمملكة المتحدة.

كما ألّف سلسلة “لنتعلّم العربية – Let’s Learn Arabic”، وهي منهج تعليمي متدرج صُمم خصيصاً ليتناسب مع احتياجات الطلاب في بريطانيا، وأصبح معتمداً في مدرسة كرويدن العربية وعددٍ من المدارس العربية الأخرى.

ويواصل العمل مع فريق المدرسة على تطوير المناهج والبرامج التعليمية، وتعزيز جودة التعليم، ومواكبة أفضل الممارسات التربوية الحديثة.

Since Croydon Arabic School was founded in 1995, its success has been built on a dedicated team of teachers who share a passion for Arabic language education and a commitment to helping every student reach their full potential within a safe, supportive and inspiring learning environment.

Our teaching team includes educators from several Arab countries, all of whom are native Arabic speakers. This enables students to learn authentic pronunciation, accurate grammar and rich vocabulary while developing confidence in reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Our teachers have many years of experience in teaching Arabic to children and young people and understand the unique needs of students attending supplementary Arabic schools in the United Kingdom.

The team follows modern teaching approaches that reflect British and European educational standards, encouraging active learning, creativity, communication and independent thinking.

To ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, every member of our teaching team holds the appropriate DBS clearance and has completed recognised safeguarding training, providing families with confidence that their children are learning in a safe and secure environment.

School Leadership

Croydon Arabic School is led by Shakir Shabaa, the school’s Founder and Principal since 1995.

Over more than three decades, he has dedicated his work to developing Arabic language education for supplementary schools in the United Kingdom.

He is also the author of the Let’s Learn Arabic series, a structured seven-level curriculum specifically designed for supplementary Arabic schools and now used by Croydon Arabic School as well as other Arabic schools across the UK.

Together with the teaching team, he continues to lead the school’s educational development, curriculum design and long-term vision for excellence in Arabic language education.
