Purpose

Croydon Arabic School is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful learning environment where every student is valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

We believe that every member of our school community should be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect, regardless of their background or personal circumstances.

Any incidents of discrimination, harassment, or bullying will be taken seriously and dealt with promptly in accordance with the school’s Behaviour and Safeguarding policies.

The Principal is responsible for ensuring that this policy is implemented consistently throughout the school.

Staff and Volunteers

Staff and volunteers are expected to:

  • Promote equality and inclusion in all aspects of school life.
  • Treat every student fairly and respectfully.
  • Challenge discriminatory language or behaviour.
  • Encourage positive relationships between students.

Students

Students are expected to:

  • Respect one another.
  • Celebrate diversity.
  • Treat everyone fairly and kindly.
  • Help create a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

Parents and Carers

Parents and carers are encouraged to:

  • Support the school’s commitment to equality and inclusion.
  • Promote respect and positive behaviour at home.
  • Work in partnership with the school to resolve any concerns.

Monitoring and Review

The school will review this policy annually, or sooner if legislation or operational requirements change, to ensure that it continues to reflect best practice and the needs of the school community.
