Year 5 students performed The Treasure of Time as part of Croydon Arabic School’s end-of-year celebrations on 4 July 2026.

The play explored the importance of managing time, being punctual, and maintaining a healthy balance between study, play, and rest. Through engaging scenes and dialogues in Arabic, the students delivered meaningful educational messages, emphasising that success begins with respecting time and using it wisely.

The students performed with confidence and enthusiasm on stage. The play was warmly received by parents and guests, with enthusiastic applause showing their appreciation for both the students’ performance and the meaningful message of the play.

The performance reflects Croydon Arabic School’s commitment to using educational drama as an effective way to develop students’ Arabic speaking skills, build their confidence, and encourage them to use the language in real-life situations before an audience.

The play was written by Shakir Shabaa, directed and rehearsed by Ms Hanan, and performed by Year 5 students.
